Day 1
Homestay at Mama Asia/Mary
ARRIVAL AT KILIMANJARO AIRPORT (JRO)
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro airport, you will be met by your guide and driven to your accommodation for your first evening in Tanzania. The transfer from Kilimanjaro International Airport to your accommodation will take about 1 hour, so you can sit back and enjoy the ride before arriving for a well-deserved overnight stay at Mama Asia/Mary homestay. Here you will have the chance to immerse yourself in Tanzanian culture and see the way of life of the local people.
Day 2
Sangaiwe Tented Lodge
TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK
This day is devoted to discovering the Tarangire National Park. The park offers numerous tracks to approach the animals in the stunning landscapes of the savanna. The Tarangire park is covered with acacia forest and giant baobabs and surrounded by swaps that attract various animal species. You may see elephants up close during your safari, as Tarangire is known for. Throughout the park, you can find species that are challenging to locate in other northern parks, such as the Gerenuk, Oryx and Greater Kudu. After a long day of exploring, you will spend the night at Sangaiwe Tented Lodge.
Day 3 and 4
The Whisper Tented Camp
SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK
Today, you will visit the famous Serengeti National Park, and due to its dimension, you will need two full days to explore it. In addition to the great migration, Serengeti National Park is well known for being home to many resident animals, especially the “Big Five” (lion, leopard, elephant, black rhino and buffalo). The park is also home to many other species, including cheetah, Thomson’s gazelle, Grant’s gazelle, hyena, baboon, impala, wild dog and giraffe and about 500 species of birds. After a long day of exploring, you will spend the night at The Whisper Tented Camp.
Day 5
Pamoja Olea Farm Lodge
NGORONGORO CRATER
In today’s tour, you are going to the famous Ngorongoro Crater, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Here, you will find almost every animal in East Africa. The descent into the crater is picturesquely beautiful, with lush forest and thousands of animals overlooking the view. The Ngorongoro crater is home to over 25,000 large animals, including 26 endangered black rhinos and the world’s most significant concentration of lions. At the end of the day, we will drive you back to your homestay, Pamoja Olea Farm Lodge.
Day 6
The Seyyida Hotel & Spa
FLIGHT TO ZANZIBAR (included in the price)
Today, you will board a flight with Flightlink from Arusha to Zanzibar at 1:00 pm. If there is no availability, it will be at 4:35 pm. Sit back and enjoy the view! After arriving in Zanzibar, you will have a free day to visit the historic town, Stone Town. You can wander the alleys, shop for souvenirs, and especially see the night market at Forodhani Gardens, where you can try the delicious Zanzibar pizzas! Other must-visit restaurants include Lukman for lunch or Emerson Spice for a more gourmet sunset meal. At the end of the day, we will drive you back to your homestay, The Seyyida Hotel & Spa.
Day 7, 8 and 9
Fun Beach Hotel
ZANZIBAR
Make the most of Zanzibar to relax on the beach or by the pool. Alternatively, you can check with the hotel for various activities, such as a blue safari, spice tour, snorkeling boat trip and more. For the night, you will stay in one of our chosen locations Fun Beach Hotel.
Day 10
DROP OFF AT ZANZIBAR AIRPORT
This is your last day in Zanzibar. When the time comes, your driver will pick you up and drive you back to the airport for your flight.
