This safari is the perfect fit for you if you consider yourself an adventurer. After arriving at Kilimanjaro and a night’s rest at Mama Asia/Mary homestay, you will spend the next full day exploring Tarangire Park. The next stop is Serengeti Park, which is well known for being home to many resident animals, especially the “Big Five”. To end the safari on a higher note, you will visit the famous Ngorongoro Crater, home to over 25,000 large animals, including endangered black rhinos and the world’s most significant concentration of lions.

Day 1
Homestay at Mama Asia/Mary

ARRIVAL AT KILIMANJARO AIRPORT (JRO)

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro airport, you will be met by your guide and driven to your accommodation for your first evening in Tanzania. The transfer from Kilimanjaro International Airport to your accommodation will take about 1 hour, so you can sit back and enjoy the ride before arriving for a well-deserved overnight stay at Mama Asia/Mary homestay. Here you will have the chance to immerse yourself in Tanzanian culture and see the way of life of the local people.

Day 2
Sangaiwe Tented Lodge

TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK

This day is devoted to discover the Tarangire National Park. It offers numerous tracks allowing to approach the animals in very beautiful landscapes of savanna. Covered with a vegetation of acacia forest and giant baobabs, this park is punctuated by huge areas of swamps attracting myriads of animals. Known for seeing elephants up close, the park is also home to species that are difficult to locate in other northern parks, such as the Gerenuk, Oryx and Greater Kudu.

Day 3 and 4
The Whisper Tented Camp

SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK

Today, you will visit the famous Serengeti National Park, and due to its dimension, you will need two full days to explore it. In addition to the great migration, Serengeti National Park is well known for being home to many resident animals, especially the “Big Five” (lion, leopard, elephant, black rhino and buffalo). The park is also home to many other species, including cheetah, Thomson’s gazelle, Grant’s gazelle, hyena, baboon, impala, wild dog and giraffe and about 500 species of birds. After a long day of exploring, you will spend the night at The Whisper Tented Camp.

Day 5
Pamoja Olea Farm Lodge

NGORONGORO CRATER

In today’s tour, you are going to the famous Ngorongoro Crater, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Here, you will find almost every animal in East Africa. The descent into the crater is picturesquely beautiful, with lush forest and thousands of animals overlooking the view. The Ngorongoro crater is home to over 25,000 large animals, including 26 endangered black rhinos and the world’s most significant concentration of lions. At the end of the day, we will drive you back to your homestay, Pamoja Olea Farm Lodge.

Day 6

DROP OFF IN ARUSHA OR AT THE AIRPORT

On your last day, you will spend a relaxing morning at your accommodation and, when the time comes, your guide will drive you back to Arusha or the airport for your flight.
