Day 1
Homestay at Mama Asia/Mary
ARRIVAL AT KILIMANJARO AIRPORT (JRO)
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro airport, you will be met by your guide and driven to your accommodation for your first evening in Tanzania. The transfer from Kilimanjaro International Airport to your accommodation will take about 1 hour, so you can sit back and enjoy the ride before arriving for a well-deserved overnight stay at Mama Asia/Mary homestay. Here you will have the chance to immerse yourself in Tanzanian culture and see the way of life of the local people.
Day 2
Sangaiwe Tented Lodge
TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK
This day is devoted to discovering the Tarangire National Park. The park offers numerous tracks to approach the animals in the stunning landscapes of the savanna. The Tarangire park is covered with acacia forest and giant baobabs and surrounded by swaps that attract various animal species. You may see elephants up close during your safari, as Tarangire is known for. Throughout the park, you can find species that are challenging to locate in other northern parks, such as the Gerenuk, Oryx and Greater Kudu. After a long day of exploring, you will spend the night at Sangaiwe Tented Lodge.
Day 3
Pamoja Olea Farm Lodge
LAKE MANYARA NATIONAL PARK
Today, your guide will take you to the Lake Manyara National Park, located in the Great Rift Valley, southeast of the Ngorongoro massif. The lake wildlife’s remarkable variety is due to the diversity of biotopes. The rainforest is the territory of one of the highest monkey species concentrations in the world. From many species, you can find Baboons, Green and blue monkeys. At the end of the day, we will drive you back to your homestay, Pamoja Olea Farm Lodge.
Day 4
Homestay at Mama Asia/Mary
NGORONGORO CRATER
In today’s tour, you are going to the famous Ngorongoro Crater, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Here, you will find almost every animal in East Africa. The descent into the crater is picturesquely beautiful, with lush forest and thousands of animals overlooking the view. The Ngorongoro crater is home to over 25,000 large animals, including 26 endangered black rhinos and the world’s most significant concentration of lions. At the end of the day, you will be driven back to Arusha and spend the night at Mama Asia/Mary’s homestay.
Day 5
DROP OFF IN ARUSHA OR AT THE AIRPORT
On your last day, you will spend a relaxing morning at your accommodation and, when the time comes, your guide will drive you back to the airport for your flight.
